​Seven years after the creation of the first Colorado Water Plan, you have a chance to make your voice heard as the plan undergoes its update. Join us in asking Colorado's water leaders to ensure the plan rises to meet this moment of water crisis in the American West, and prepares Colorado for a resilient future. We believe the update must:

  2. Include measurable objectives to ensure accountability 
  3. Prioritize assessable conservation across sectors
  4. Specify and secure a sustainable, long-term source of funding
  5. Move beyond traditional storage in favor of nature-based solutions
  6. Acknowledge the importance of ecologically healthy rivers for Colorado’s economy
  7. Commit to actionable steps on equity, diversity, and inclusion
